ParticipACTION Community Better Challenge
The ParticipACTION Community Challenge event of Line Dancing was hosted in the gymnasium by Lily Tingly and Kathy White earlier this month. It was deemed to be a great success with 68 participants dancing in the two-day event.
Everyone that came out had a great time moving to the music and learning many new Line Dance steps. The morning gardening group even joined the event on the first day after a full morning of gardening. The gardeners and Lily continue to make us proud, as their weekly garden maintenance hours are recorded for the ParticipACTION Community Challenge. If you have a movement/work event that is occurring within the Church, the hours of the event could be counted as activity for the Lakeview United Church ParticipACTION event until June 30.
