Faith is the lifeblood of Lakeview United Church. It informs and guides our lives, fills us with inspiration and compassion, and brings us comfort and strength in times of difficulty.
Worship calls us together in a community of faith. In our services of worship at Lakeview United Church, we explore God’s message and reflect on His presence in our daily lives. Through words and music, our faith is nurtured, challenged, and celebrated. Spiritually renewed, we leave each service of worship ready to face the demands and challenges of our ever-changing world.
Communion: We celebrate communion several times a year. All who believe, regardless of their faith background, are very welcome to participate in this sacrament.
Christian Development: A nursery is staffed and available for infants and toddlers during the service of worship. It is located on the second floor and is well-stocked with toys.
Sunday School classes are available for children and teens and are held in various meeting places throughout the building. The classes are taught by adult and teen volunteers and follow the United Church of Canada curriculum.
Prayer Requests: Lakeview United Church has a Prayer Team of church members who are committed to praying for those in need of comfort and support. All requests are confidential and may be made by completing a Prayer Request form or by contacting Margaret Hopkinson, Chair of the Caring Committee at 306.586.5489.
